Editorial policy
Global Fitness Journal aims to make fitness topics understandable without overstating what an article can establish. Our editorial approach is careful, transparent and open to correction.
Accuracy and clarity
We review articles for clear explanations, consistent terminology and claims that match the scope of the subject. Where a statement needs qualification, we aim to make that qualification visible. We do not present general information as an individual exercise prescription, and we avoid claims that a single approach suits everyone.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. Commercial relationships do not guarantee editorial coverage or a favourable account. Paid placements and sponsored material are labelled clearly so readers can distinguish them from editorial articles. Partner links and other partner placements are also identified as such wherever they appear.
Corrections
If you think an article contains a factual error or unclear wording, use the Contact page and identify the article and passage. We review correction requests and update material when warranted. When a change affects a reader's understanding, we aim to make the correction clear in the article rather than silently leaving a material error unaddressed.
Illustrations
Some illustrations on Global Fitness Journal may be generated with artificial intelligence. Illustrations are used to support the page, not as evidence that a depicted exercise, person or situation has been observed or tested.
Understanding comes before routine
Fitness is easier to approach when the terms, choices and trade-offs are clear. We explain the thinking behind movement without prescribing a personal training plan.
